It is difficult to
establish a date that is to mark the beginning of the activity of this family
in the countryside because of the love that , binds them to this ancient craft.
Francesco La Scala
In 1850, the La
Scala’s family became the owner of a large area of land that until today was
called ” Feotto La Scala .” These lands, once left to abandonment ,
became the wonder that are today thanks to major land reclamation and
redevelopment carried out over the years by the descendants and by the founder
himself of our Tradition.
These lands soon
became olive cultivars Biancolilla behind the work of dozens of workers who ,without
even mechanical means , they had to perform any operation by hand.
Already half a
century later , all the Feotto La Scala was shining with its own light because
of the increasingly modern methods of cultivation .
